Creating a good resume should not end with a trap
CV Simple began as a transparent alternative to resume builders that ask you to complete the entire document before revealing a payment or mandatory registration.
Last updated: August 21, 2026The idea behind CV Simple
We want anyone to be able to create, customize, and download a professional resume without first handing their data to a platform or discovering a paywall at the end.
The generator remains the home page: you can see the result while you type, monitor the available space, and export the document when it is ready.
Product principles
- Every template, customization option, and export is available for free.
- You do not need an account or password.
- Resume content and photographs are processed inside your browser.
- Saved resumes remain on the device and browser where you created them.
- The interface explains its limits and external services before you use them.
How local processing works
As you complete the form, the preview and PDF and DOCX files are generated by code running on your device. CV Simple has no resume database and does not receive the text or photograph you enter.
Autosave uses browser local storage. My resumes and My applications use IndexedDB. There is no synchronization between devices and no backup on our servers.
A product that keeps evolving
CV Simple continues to add templates, professional examples, accessibility improvements, and performance work. The intention is to sustain the product without moving essential features behind a premium tier.
