Resume content

Names, contact details, experience, education, skills, photographs, and other content you enter are processed locally in your browser. CV Simple does not send them to its own database or backend.

PDF and DOCX generation and photograph cropping also take place on your device.

Storage in your browser

Autosave uses localStorage. Documents in My resumes and tracking data in My applications are stored in IndexedDB. You can delete individual resumes, applications, and their notes from their respective libraries.

This data belongs to the current browser profile and device. It may be lost if you clear site data, use private browsing, switch browsers or devices, or uninstall the browser. CV Simple cannot recover it because it keeps no remote copy.

Analytics and technical data

CV Simple uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate usage statistics. According to Vercel's documentation, this analytics service does not use cookies, does not associate activity with a personal identity, and may process data such as the visited page, referrer, approximate location, browser, operating system, and device type.

Resume content and photographs are not included in analytics events. As the hosting provider, Vercel may also process technical information needed to serve and protect the site under its own privacy notice.

External services and links

CV Simple includes an optional link to iLovePDF for converting an edited DOCX to PDF. Following it takes you away from this site. Any file you upload there will be processed by that provider under its terms and privacy policy.

Links to GitHub and other external sites are likewise governed by their respective operators' policies.
